Hi all: Pete Nuccio is currently in Beverly Hospital for testing. He's been there since last Saturday. His birthday is Monday, October 1st, so if any of you would like to wish him a speedy recovery, good health, and a very Happy Birthday, his address is as follows: Pietro Nuccio 141 Park Street Beverly, MA 01915 Beverly Hospital 85 Herrick Street Room 411 Beverly, MA 01915 Take care! LOC The Cardinal Alumni asks that if you have any pictures, music clips, or anything else that you would like to see on the website, that you contact a cardinal for instructions. We are trying to create a history for the Cardinal Alumni and the pictures and sound clips bring back old memories and help us better show our history. Thanks! Saint Mary's Drum Corps began in 1947 as the St. Mary's Crusaders, and first competed in the 1948 and the 1949 seasons. The Cardinals were born , and began competing in the 1950 season, and the Crusaders became the Cardinals feeder corps. Both corps stayed competing until the 1975 season. In 1973 the Cardinals teamed up with the Wilmington Crusaders and became the Cardinals of Wilmington, and became a great corps and a powerhouse in the Massachusetts drum corps circiuts in 1974. In 1975 the corps team up with the corps from Melrose, and in this year, the Cardinals ended competing as a Drum and Bugle Corps. The first annual Tournament of Drums, Drum and Bugle Corps competition began in 1951 at Hurd Stadium, Beverly, Massachusetts. Cardinal Alumni and all Drum Corps Fans are welcome to register to receive emails on the Beanpot Invitational Competition, the Cardinal Store, and the Cardinal Alumni Association. You will also be able to partake in our discussion board. Quick Links (Click for more information):
